During the Klimahouse 2026 trade show in Bolzano, we had the pleasure of organizing the second workshop of the Robo&M project, a practical discussion on how artificial intelligence, computer vision, and robotics are transforming the way photovoltaic systems are monitored.
During the session, we explored:
– the connection between robotics and data, and the new frontiers in photovoltaics with Saidea’s ANTARES;
– the challenges posed by panels that “fail silently,” addressed alongside the importance of early diagnosis, in a presentation by Eurac Research;
– Deltamax Automazione Srl’s software solutions for image processing and automatic defect detection, complemented by Eurac Research’s presentation “Smart Eyes for Solar Panels”;
– an open discussion and a Q&A session full of insights and brainstorming, followed by networking and informal discussions.
Thank you to Eurac Research, coordinator of the Robo&M project, and to Saidea – AI for human work, co-organizer of the event alongside Deltamax Automazione Srl, for helping make the workshop a success.
Thank you to all participants for their interest and thought-provoking questions: innovation in photovoltaics starts here too!
