In the photovoltaic sector, the efficiency and profitability of a system depend on the correct functioning of each individual panel.
With this objective in mind, ROBO&M was created, a research project co-financed by the ERDF program, which aims to increase automation in the maintenance processes of photovoltaic systems.
On January 30, 2026, starting at 10:00 a.m., at Klimahouse – Südtirol Lounge in Bolzano, Deltamax and Saidea will present their contribution to the project during the workshop “From digital platform to automatic diagnosis: AI and Computer Vision for photovoltaics.”
Deltamax’s role in Robo&M involves the development of algorithms for the analysis of photovoltaic park images, with the aim of identifying defects and degradation mechanisms in the modules, supporting continuous diagnostics, and reducing maintenance times and costs.
The solutions integrate with field robotic systems and digital platforms, transforming images and data into operational information to support the maintenance team.
Deltamax and Saidea are collaborating in ROBO&M as companies of the Delta Informatica S.p.A. Group, together with project partners Eurac Research – Institute for Renewable Energy, Fraunhofer Italia, IEC, and Wattservice Srl.
